Didn't see a thread, this looks to be a good one. From David Mackenzie director of Starred Up and Taylor Sheridan writer of Sicario

Reviews out there are all positive so far

This looks great, and has made a good impression at Cannes. Hopefully it makes its way to a theater near me!

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis

Seeing this in 2 hrs. It's got three of my favorite actors in it. A must see.

I didnt even know this film was out. I'm gonna check it out if I can or just straight up blind buy the bluray, SICARIO was great.

Yeah, marketing hasn't been that great. I only saw the trailer once in theaters and I go about twice on a weekly basis. Plus, I don't think there's been any TV spots oddly... Might be wrong though... Personally wouldn't have known if I didn't check to see if there was a 7 pm for Pete's Dragon or the Sausage Party.

Arthropod has the worst marketing. I saw the trailer for the first time with Suicide Squad and it's out this week. That's... That's odd....

10/10 a great southern bank robbery movie. Can't think of any real flaws in it outside of I wouldn't buy it but definitely recommend it and can see others loving this and wanting to see it multiple times because it's a great film with great performances and a lot of tension.

I wanna see this but it's not playing anywhere near me.

I'm hoping this turns up on VOD so I can watch this. It's not playing near me.:(

damn this may be one of best critically received films of the year

98% on RT with 127 reviews

The film is in extremely limited release, but it has still made over 3 million dollars.

Hope it expands to 1,000 theaters. As of now I'd have to drive 2.5 hours to watch it

I love and admire movies like this. This is a movie in which everything works. The script, the acting,The Direction
cinemaphotography and the pacing.
I should have known the brilliant writer Taylor Sheridan wrote this.
This film brilliantly displays what happens when desperation takes hold of a person and they have been financially
backed into a corner.
This is not only a great crime drama, but a reflection of whats currently happening with banks and land/home ownership.
Every scene in this movie works from the simplest conversations and flirtations,to an edge of your seat action sequence.
Every actor nails their roles, high praise to:Jeff Bridges ,Chris Pine,Ben Foster,Katy Mixon,Gil Birmingham,Christopher W. Garcia, Dale Dickey,Kevin Rankin and Melanie Papalia.
There are so many nice touches in this movie, one in particular in which a character experiences elation for accomplishing something but is also struck with sadness at what occured moments before.
I would gladly pay to see this film again.
Please go out and support this film because i think it's one of the best of 2016

Scale of 1-10 a 10+

Is it Oscar worthy for any of the cast? I would genuinely like to see Pine get a nod for this just because it shows his range.

I think Pine,Bridges, and Foster may get Oscar and Golden Globe nominations

This was probably the second best movie of the year for me behind The Nice Guys. There really wasn't anything wrong with it except I noticed most scenes were people sitting down and talking, but the characters were all so engaging and well written that it worked. This is probably Pine's best performance and Foster is superb as usual. Same with Bridges. And the ending is the best one this year. A really terrific modern western.

I really admire a guy like Sheridon who's able to write original thrillers that actually get made.
