HELP!!!Lord of the rings DVD.

I nee help fellow movie fans. I m a rings fan and i need to buy a box set to enjoy. But there are two now to purchuse.

I dont know the price for this.

For a bargain 24.99 pounds on sale.
The thing is i dont want to miss any deleted scenes but the second one is much cheaper.

I gonna tell you to go for the one that has all the commentaries. Those are better. The second set you have pictured...is that the 4-disc extended cuts of each film in a box set?

Because it if is that is the one you should get. More features.

The first one has both the original and extended cuts, which is a nice feature. The second only has the extended cuts, so I guess it depends on whether or not you will want to watch the versions presented in theaters.

If you're a film buff, and love special features, the second set is absolutely amazing, though. That's the one I have. Even though I'd love to own the theatrical versions, I don't really see myself ever watching them.

Depends on what you want. If you only want bare essentials then the first one is right on the money. If you like the whole 9 yards with specials features and all that jazz then the second on is right up your alley.
