Help me classify a social disorder.

I kinda feel sorry for the guy :(

How long have you known the guy, how did you become friends with him? Have you tried dropping him as a friend & he wouldn't take the hint? Are your roomates mean to him because of the way he acts? Tell him straight that he is going to have to stop doing certain things or you can't be friends anymore.

Well they've (Greg and Brian) have known him longer than I have...and he gets clingy according to them. We have tried dropping as a friend in so much that...well once we locked the front door and did not answer when he came by. So he came in the back totally not acknowledging we had not answered the door.. We have told him to leave once or twice...once for showing up WAY to early in the morning. We aren't mean to him, in fact any jabs we take at him like my "well I would know anything about that" (in response to a comment he made about "annoying pests") tend to be under the radar and or "hints" that he should leave.

However I am close to the edge and if he ever shows up unannounced when no one is around I will kick him out perminantly.

Does he look really drowsy all the time? He really just sounds burnt out on something.

sounds like aspergers
I would know i have it

The worst serial killers are usually small and underestimated. Just saying be careful. People who don't get social conventions etc. is usually a red flag for those who are not quite wired correctly.

Um thats a pretty broad generalisation there bud. There are a TON of people who are eccentric and do not understand social conventions, but are no serial killers. Hell, thats part of what Asperger's is, not being able to pick up on the unwritten rules of social interaction.

I've never been diagnosed, but I did score extremely high on an autism survey online once. I wouldn't be surprised at all if I had A.S. I definitely have a lot of that "Mr. Spock" personality, I'm not stupid but I often have trouble deciphering whether people are being serious or joking, I tend to take things literally. :o

I've never been diagnosed with it but I probably suffer with it also. I have definitely been diagnosed as being Manic Depressive & have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder though.
