So I bout a bicycle on friday from Argos who were to deliver the bike today, which they did. I started to assemble the bike. Everything was going well. The first thing I noticed when I took the bike from the box was that one of the tires was flat. No biggy, I thought. I have a pump and I'll fix that sucker as soon as the bike is assembled, I thought. Well, once the bike was assembled, I started pumping the tire till it was full and the tire was nice and firm. Only one or two minutes later, it was not firm. It was going flat again. I don't see any tears or holes, and I didn't hear any air come out. I tried pumping it again. Same thing again, minutes later it was flat.
Anyone know what the possible problem is? Is it the nuzzle that air is pumped into? Maybe there is a rip somewhere or something and I'll have to call up the shop to get a new tire, which would be a pain in the ass? What can I do to fix this without having to wait days for a replacement?
