His top speed is around mach three.

He can lift about 40 tons.

really, I was thinking it was much higher than that:confused: Many eternals focus thier powers into one distinct power making it unusally high. These are two examples.

Normally, Eternals aren't fast or that strong.

yes I know. I was thinking these two had focused thier matter manipulation power into raising the two mentioned powers.

They have. Most Eternals can't move at mach three or lift 40 tons. Ikaris and Makkari can because they've developed those stills.

In the end though, Makkari was able to attain hyper-speed. He really became the MU's Flash.

I had read somewhere that he had gotten so fast that he was moving out of sync with the rest of the universe. He had beaten the runner if Im not mistaken.

Sersi must be a super-Eternal, then. She can fly pretty fast and amplify her strength enough to knock Hercules out.

Yep. He attained hyper-speed, like I said. Only those with hightened perceptions like the Runner and Fast Forward (Barry Allen in the MU) could keep up with that.

I guess this works in here. Here's Coipel's variant cover for the upcoming Eternals #1 by Gaiman and Romita Jr.:

It's a limited edition, which usually means it'll cost more, so I'll probably stick with the Rick Berry version, myself.

Damn that's hot. Makkari still looks like crap though.

I don't see anything wrong with him. He kind of looks like a human bullet car to me.

It makes sense for his character and powers, though. I think Thena's taken a bit of a downgrade in costuming, myself.

Kinda like sersi's:up: Glad to see the eternals back in print

It makes sense, but I won't mind if he'd lose the skullcap.

Sersi's costume looks significantly less... substantial... than it did in Romita's character sketch.

Yeah, looks like she's practicing her routine for her job at the local strip club. :D

Ikaris was able to lift 40 tons before his upgrade to Prime Eternal. He may be even stronger now but if so I have seen no reference to it. He did gain increased power and skill though. He was a level 5 energy manipulator and a level 3 matter manipulator. He became a level 4 matter manipulator and gained more energy powers to an undefined degree.

Someone should really make a master list of Eternals and their rankings in each Eternal ability. The only detail I ever knew about the Eternals' rankings was that Sersi was the only level 5 matter manipulator. What would Makkari be? A level 5 speed... user... guy?

The level ratings are only for matter and energy manipulation. Sprite is a level 4 matter manipulator.

I'd assume so. Makkari was easily outclassed all the other Eternals when it came to speed.

If hes outran the runner then he's outclasses everyone in speed:eek:

Indeed be and "Buried Alien" Fast Forward went looking for a way for him to slow down and obviously found it. It was questionable if he was really faster than Fastforward.
