Help with FFXIII glitch???

Eh, I'm on chapter seven of FFXIII and I go down a stairwell, it goes to start a cutscene and it just never starts, I try to skip it and the screen stays blank, but I can't do anything... Anyone else having this problem????

Unfortunately, I don't think there is fix yet. It is happening on both consoles. What model do you have?

First Gen 60 gig. :/


What the hell is it?? I searched and I didn't find anything on the subject.

No one knows, but here is a thread devoted to it. All models seem to suffer from it randomly.

360 is being hit by it as well.

I just started to play the game and have a 60gig. I'm a bit nervous.

I got to to the scene in chapter 7 and it kind of screwed up... I just skipped the scene and it worked, and then it freezes right before a supposed bossfight It sucks because I have a few days off and I wanted to play a little, oh well.

It also won't let me turn off my system when it freezes. It lets me go to the menu ( shut down system, quit game, etc..) but when I click shut down system, the light starts blinking, the system makes the eject noise, and nothing happens.

Hmmm ... whereabouts in chapter seven is this? I've gotten as far as the last boss fight in that chapter, just outside of Hope's house (Havoc Skytank) with no such problem. I'm playing on an older 80 gig discontinued model.
