OK, now I know everybody loves Kit Kat out there, but the question I wanna know is do you like the Hershey (USA) brand or the Nestle (International) brand? This includes the Japanese, UK, Canadian and Australian flavors too.

I would perfer the Nestle one because it contains actual chocolate, not an "extract" or "flavoring" or any other way to hide it is not true chocolate.

just when I thought we'd cured Sawyer of making food threads, this **** happens

Saw the Hershey cover once in a local market, thought Nestle changed the wrapper design.

I honestly did not know they were two different things. I've had both and just figured they changed the flavor or I remembered it wrong.

The Japanese ones have become very popular here in the States.

In Japan, Nestle Kit Kat has its own Chocolatory store

I can't make a proper opinion since I've never tasted the international version of this chocolate bar.

Chocolate is chocolate. This is not ****ing Willy Wonka. :argh:

I never paid enough attention to notice they were from different brands. :funny:

Here are some of the Japanese flavors, besides Green Tea and Strawberry:

Red Bean Sandwich
Taro (Purple Sweet Potato)
Chili Pepper
Roasted Tea
Rum Raisin
Pumpkin Pudding
Citrus Blend
Butter
Orange Cocktail
Baked Potato
Grilled Corn

They even have Kit Kats you bake too.

UK has also had a variety of Kit Kats, including orange, cookies and cream, white, dark, and mint.

My personal favourite. The Chunky bar!

I tasted Hershey's chocolate a few months back for the first time and all I can say is to the Americans here, you have my sympathies.
