Last year was my freshmen year in High school, now, in 29 days, I go back to to school. Yes, I know 29 days is a good amount of days left, but I get bad anxiety about things like that. So anyway, last year, my life was hell in high school. I'm so nervous about going back and especially being a sophmore now. Anynbody have any suggestions on how to make me not nervous and keep my mind off of it for the next month? :csad::csad::csad:

How was freshman year hell? I'm gonna be a junior now and sophomore year was a real *****. I had to go to summer school...for the first time ever, summer school.

That is all. :csad:

I used to get made fun of a lot. Once I started beating peoples a$$es it stopped. Sometimes you just have to come out of your shell. Don't try to be something you aren't, just be comfortable with who you are.

I'll take the advice from you guys. Thing is, I get provoked sometime for no reason by students. The teachers do nothing about it!

god high-school angst.. to be honest, highschool is a crock, as soon as you get out, you realize what a joke it is. I've been out for 4 years now.. wow.. still shocks me it's been that long. Any who.. my best words of advise

1) Make friends, do alot of activities, go to prom, and enjoy yourself the best you can.

2) Don't make yourself a target, unless you want to be. If your an extremely dorky kid, you need to learn how to conduct yourself out of highschool anyway, might as well start now. And yes that can include how you dress and what you do after lunch *rings back memories of kids playing magic* and being made fun of. If you don't want made fun of, don't draw a target on yourself, nuff said

3) if you dont care about getting made fun of, then more power to you, just don't complain about it

4) Don't stress, i remember stressing for tests like crazy, and thinking every little thing was a big deal, and it wasn't. I took only the ACT's applied to one college, got in, and am doing fine. The only time you really need to concentrate on a high GPA is if you want scholarships, a really good college, and applying for a very intelligent major.

I think history has taught us the best way to deal with High school is to pair up with a friend. buy a couple of guns and shoot every ****er you can see.

I had the most fun my sophmore year, actually.:o

As long as you aren't a freak, it's not hard to make friends.

To be honest, guys, I am a big nerd. I really like being myself, so I really don't want to change myself for others in my school. They should know better than to pick on people. I also do have a few friends, not many though. one of them that is actually a user on here that goes to my school.

I wish 2011 was here so that I could graduate already though. :csad:

Then use your nerdiness to build a time machine! whilst you're there could you pick me up a sports almanac?

Well, it's safe to say most of us on here were picked on or are picked on in school, so your pain is felt. I had popular friends in school, but was still one of the nerds for the most part, and they did not let me forget it.

Befriend the other nerds at your school then. Talk to someone who looks like they're uncomfortable. Talk to the person who sits in front of you in English,Science, ect. If you talk to people they get to know who you are, and they'll proably think you're a cool person.

DON'T LISTEN TO HER! The best way for people to think your cool is to drink, smoke and humiliate people further down the food chain than yourself, a bully always has friends, just look at Hitler he had a whole country swooning after him.:o

Befriend some of the freaks. Freaks and nerds have more in common than they're sometimes willing to admit. And depending on the freaks you befriend there's a good chance the kind of people that make fun of others will think your unstable and won't mess with you.

well highschool is like a small community, yeah people shouldnt pick on others, but they do, and no one can really stop that. so you either have to learn to deal with it... or like i've said, not draw a target on yourself.

Luckily, I went to an extremely small school that was K-12 so i didn't have to put up with the crap of big high-schools. The entire time I was at this school we only had more than 200 students once. Usually we had less than 180. Anyways, if you could elaborate it would help us help you a lot easier.

However, as other have said Junior year is true academic hell! Senior Year was my breeze year. All my classes were really easy. Of course though that just left time for more drama. I may have been in a small school, but in a school that small nothing stays secret, and everyone knows everyone else's drama. Me and one other girl were really good friends and I wanted more and she didn't. Well, eventually all hell broke loose between us, and everyone in the high school was affected by it. The teachers had to step in. People outside the school got in on it, and death threats were thrown out. It was beyond stupid.
