High School Valedictorian denied diploma because of graduation speech.

That valedictorian is about to get paid.

This just about tops the story about the kid who was suspended when he went to a prom at another school because they had dancing and rock music.

Only one man can fix this mess. Anyone know how to contact Kevin Bacon?

Crosses off Oklahoma off of list of places to go one day.

j/k Oklahoma didn't make the top 100.

Religion at it's finest!
You really should try to read the article before you comment on it. Because what happens when you don't is you end up making a comment that makes you look foolish. Like this one I'm quoting.

And yeah, she needs to sue the school. That's ridiculous and the principal needs to pull the stick out of his ass.

Unbelievable story. I have a feeling the principal is turning this into a pissing contest now. It's become such an issue, he can't back down now.

Beyond ridiculous. Schools have so much power to basically do whatever the hell they want, and some of these principles let the power go to their heads.

This guy is a clown. I hope he's fired after this girl wins her lawsuit. Which she will and cost the school and taxpayers a ridiculous and unnecessary amount of money because this principle is a power mad a-hole.

Omgosh, just say you're freaking sorry and get your diploma. But I guess you want the national news attention, talk show appearances, and maybe that book deal you've always dreamed of. :whatever:

Or maybe she's just not willing to cave to an uptight bully who thinks he can nullify academic achievement because he doesn't like a word.

Which is just as stupid. Apologize, get your diploma. And then go home and laugh about the whole thing. Both sides are acting like children, and neither side wants to be the grown up.

Right. Because that's a great message to send. "When someone is wrong and totally out of bounds and they demand an apology, do it and reassure them of their actions just because it's easier."

That will really help out future students that will undoubtedly clash with the power hungry *****ebag.

Supporting stupidity is stupid and it's a bad formula for the future generation.

Repeal the no dancing law!

...there was a time for this law, but not anymore. See, this is our time to dance. It is our way of, of celebrating life. It’s the way it was in the beginning. It’s the way it’s always been. It’s the way it should be now.
