What is the history between Monica Rambeau and T'Challa?

There is a bit of a history, but nothing too extensive. I'm moreso looking to use her as a replacement character for Storm, since Marvel Studios doesn't have the rights. Again, wishful thinking on my part, as they would most likely use Monica Lynne as a love interest for T'Challa (and I'm fine with that...I always liked the character).

Here are excerpts from the World Of Black Heroes website, detailing Monica's interactions with T'Challa:

Monica was also part of a rag-tag Black Superhero team assembled by the Black Panther to battle vampires in New Orleans (her home town) after hurricane Katrina. The team consisted of Black Panther/T’challa, Luke Cage, Dr. Voodoo and Blade [Black Panther v3. #12-13].

During this meeting Black Panther called her a ‘sun goddess’ who had not fully utilized her powers all these years, he also proposed that he could teach her how to properly use her powers [Black Panther v3. #13].

Monica also realized how attracted she was to T’challa [Black Panther v3. #13].

She also attends the wedding of Black Panther and Storm [Black Panther v3.#18].

During Civil War she opposes registration [Civil War #1-7], Black Panther meanwhile plans to use her as a secret weapon. She is also shown attracted to Black Panther and found watching him get married to Storm ‘hard’ [Black Panther v3. #22-24].

Also, Firebird would be better than Silverclaw, although I would not mind White Tiger, Ava Ayala.

Good call...especially since she is currently featured in The Mighty Avengers (fun book...I've enjoyed it so far).

I don't know if we'll ever see Monica Rambeau in the MCU, and if we do it'll be long after many of the current MCU actors move on.

In other words, Monica Rambeau in 2023 will be played by 30 year old Keke Palmer.

Besides, I have my doubts about Devin Faraci's rumor about Black Panther.

I'm wondering if Hemsworth, Downey, Evans, and Ruffalo are going to have their contracts extended..I think there should at least be 4 Avengers films with those 4 as major characters. The first one had Loki and the Chitauri, the second one will have Ultron, the third one will likely have Thanos, and the fourth should be the Masters of Evil

I think 3 Avengers films with the big four is probably all we'll see.

Hemsworth seems really happy in the role, I could see him continuing. Evans is up in the air, it sounds like he wants to move on to directing, so Bucky Cap may take over. I have no clue how many films Ruffalo has on his contract. And finally, Downey's Tony Stark is easily my favorite Avenger, but I wouldn't mind his character getting a break for Phase 4, and then return in Phase 5 with a recast, if necessary.

If they want they could put the sentry,hyperion or blue marvel or any recent marvel superhero from the comics in avengers 3.

I think avengers 3 will be last avengers film.

The defenders superhero team will be different for live action tv,so why not the avengers down the road?

Any other avengers movie will be most likely another team like new Avengers or hopefully the recent mighty Avengers superhero team with Monica Rambeau,blue marvel and others with luke cage as the leader.



If they do that they will leave DC FURTHER IN THE DUST.
Think of it,a mostly folks of color and superhero team and with a number of superhero women on the big screen for the first time from the west.
Hopefully big hero 6 do well so they could make more animated big screen movies too and more superheros could be shown.

I think capping things at Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet are the way to go IMO. Plus it has a nice trilogy feel to it, with there being three phases and all.

No, Hawkeye and BW should stay, especially since they don't have their own movie. They could phase out Iron Man if RDJ wants to move on, or Cap if Evans does as well.

No, but then I am an old guy brought back by the MCU. I do remember Jack Of Hearts from a secondary list. So the character must have struck a chord with me back in the day.

I figure like Hawkeye or MODOK Superior on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that Jack Hart's armor would be toned down as only Captain America, with his humiliating USO appearance in The First Avenger and showman Tony Stark going from grey to gold really kept the four color comic look
