Sequels Hmmm are marvel looking towards a Black Cat spin off from Spiderman

It got me thinking recently about the possibility of the black cat appearing in spiderman 4 - its not confirmed and no this isnt another villian thread but we know the studios are excited about spin offs from these franchises to possibly continue it on. I'm wondering wether Black Cat will be introduced with Morpheus and they will market her as the Next Blade per-say? They could of continued Blade with Nightstaklers but i think it wasnt strong enough, But Black Cat? i dunno a spin off from spiderman? Makes you think

Nope, look what happen to Catwoman or Elektra, female superhero are not big box draw at this time. So I would say it's unlikely we see a stand alone Black Cat movie

I do agree female super heroes haven't worked.... but the two movies you just mentioned didn't work because they were awful not because they were female super heroes. I mean no one outside of comic fans really knew who Elektra was.... and if they saw DD and remembered her from that when they saw the preview for Elektra they go wait didn't she die in DD. and lets not get started on the Cat Woman movie.... the thing is a female super hero movie could work its just that no one will do it well. I think its funny that marvel is making so many movies for all their heroes now, but they can't even seem to get all their cartoons all in the same continuity. plus who really cares about the black cat who's demanding her in a movie... I've barely even seen her in a comic since BND

I don't see what would even make you come close to thinking Marvel could be even slightly concidering a spinoff involving BlackCat.

God no, not to be sexist or anything, but I don't think America take too kindly to female Superhero Flicks. Just look at Elektra, Ultraviolet (not technicall comic-book, but still), and Catwoman.

Please, please, have consideration and leave Hardy's dignity intact.

Well... here is my observation of the black cat...

1. Marvel is grouping together certian characters to make the avenger movie, however in that process what they actually are doing is linking all the comic book movies together just like they are in the comic book universe.
2. Black Widow has recently been announced as a character to appear in Iron Man 2
3. Raimi is considering Morbius in Spiderman 4, if so then they may introduce Felicia Hardy aka black cat because although there are fans of the comic book, alot of the fans from the animated series will link the two characters together.
4. They want to make a Venom spin off but with recasting, all news since that has suggested they havent found the right format for a Venom Spin Off...
5. Spiderman is owned by sony studios which means it would be problem for them to link Spiderman to the Avenger universe. However the possibility of a spin off isnt out of the picture so just as long as they have characters they can follow like Venom and Black Cat its always an option...
6. Daredevil could be considered as a spin off however the film was made by Fox so by law they cant have any connection
7. With a spiderman trilogy already done, and legal battles over Ghost Rider. How else will they make another successful marvel film? Remember Marvel isnt renewing any licenses because they want to retain them to make all films interlocked. So the only way for sony to continue the marvel connection is to ask for a spiderman spin off character.
8. Theres still a possibility that Spiderman 4 may not be made, and remember they originally ended the trilogy with the outlook that the series would end, with Raimi and Toby leaving the franchise...
9. Marvel may greenlight it because of her ties with Captain America... mostly because of her story in the animated series where Fisk made her the black cat using Cap Americas foruma to see if it works. As they wish to make Cap America movie and avengers, plus throwing in several references placed in iron man and hulk. Im guessing they would also use a suttle node to it by green lighting a film about a girl who became a female verson of Cap America without actually saying that. Plus it would be cheap enough to see how that would go before they spend money on making cap america.

10. Because like with all marvel characters, there should be a movie around them... LOL

Catwoman, Elektra, Venom, Black Cat and so on...omg! Why not a Ben Parker or May Parker Spin off? Maybe JJJ and MJ spin-offs too! Or how about the whole damn characters?!? Jesus!
