Obviously it doesnt mean alot, but you never know. Sometimes you gotta look at the small things.

I just find it a bit skeptic that he showed up to the premiere, he's not in the film. Obviously invited by Nolan and crew, with all the rumors going around would Nolan invite a guy who alot of people thought would end up with the part to the premiere of his new film without actually being cast?

Paste into the browser. It's Guy Pearce. Certainly interesting if Pearce hasn't attended Nolan's more recent films..

Lachy Hulme was invited to attend the Batman Begins screening, just throwing that out there....

I think this is reaching.

I agree. As much as I would like Pierce to be cast as Dent, there is absolutely no reason to get this excited about him showing up at the premiere. Especially when he's worked with Nolan before.

I wouldn't buy too much into that. Pearce, William Fitchner (who was also there) and Pretige star Piper Perabo made a movie together called First Snow recently and Nolan and him had a great collaboration on Memento. I think thats why he went since he rarely goes to these red carpet things.

If Nolan was going to offer him the Dent role he would have invited him to The Garage.:cwink:

If it had been any other main Dent candidate, you might have a point. But when it's the one candidate who's done prior work with Nolan, it really doesn't mean much at all. But even then, a lot of big stars are invited to these things.

This doesn't mean anything, let's say Vin Diesel was invited to the premiere of the movie does that mean Diesel rumored as Dent? Of course not

How can this dude show up in real life he is a Comic Book character.

I'm pretty sure John Goodmand and Christopher Lloyd were there too!

Can someone say Det Bullock and Mr. Freeze!!!

Pearce would be great choice, but I doubt Nolan will ever work with him again (dunno why, but I just doubt.)

:S read theyve been talking about it this whole time!its only one page man

Wonder if Nolan invited him on purpose, to throw us off to the Dent casting?

No, I doubt it.
