Hostage situation going on at a gay night club in Orlando right now.
 
They're now reporting the shooter is dead.

40+ injured
 
Oh. The first story I found said he was strapped with a bomb.
 
Orlando seems to be getting more than it's fair share of public tragedy this week.
 
i know its not the right place but i just cant shake the feeling im being left behind, that no matter what i do it never works and no matter how positive or nice you are to other, people still look at you like some kinda creep or weirdo.

ive been told a thousand times over that i over think and look too deep into thinks and i know this but sometimes i just watch people who dont deserve or actually work for it get everything so easy, and that little voice that says if everyone thinks your an ******* why not give them what they want, which i know i shouldn't but the temptation is there

i used to bury myself in my art because i knew it was the one thing that people actually liked but now the people are just kinda like ohh another one ok, and the one or two people you really wanted to see your work now don't

like i said i know this isnt really the place or even the time i just had to vent.
 
Every day I see news stories about the whole "transgenders using a different bathroom" thing. It's so ****ing stupid. Who ****ing cares if a male who wants to be or is in the process of becoming a female uses the female bathroom? It's one of those issues that is NOT an issue. Parents going "my kid at skewl shouldn't have to deal with this!" Deal with WHAT? How much time does your kid spend in the school bathroom per day? Two minutes? NOTHING CHANGES if the person in the stall next to yours is transgender.

God.
 
Its much ado about nothing. Why North Carolina chose to make it an issue is incredibly baffling. I'm not even sure you could actually say that anyone in the elementary to high school age bracket is transgender since the human brain doesn't even reach maturity until they're 24 or 25. Let the kids use whatever restroom they want.

Does it still come up in the news, though? I haven't seen any stories about it here in the states as of late.

The amount of transgender kids at your everyday school is so staggeringly low that the issue is almost literally about nothing.

It does come up. It's not an upfront nationwide discussion but almost every day there is some school board meeting that goes awry because people are outraged. Recently, there was a trend of people going into Target and shouting religious texts because Target "gave in" to transgender people or something.

This is a good place to talk about it.
From what little I saw here, you are not a jerk, don't let others decide what you are, or don't listen to your inner demons making you accept being evil.
Watch How To Basic videos, what he does with his food is evil, but watching them is a good stress relief.
 
Depending on how dedicated his buyer is, he may literally be living the Reeklife.

Thanks man it's having to deal with a lot of crap that I can't really get away from without wrecking what little I have left heh

It was just one of them damned if you do damned if don't moments last night that just got to me :(

I know, right? People choose the wrong things to worry about. How about global warming and why hard working folks can't get a decent wage? :(
