DC hates Wally West. They can't stand that motherf***er for some odd reason.

How did Lex Luthor lose his hair?

What happened to Kyle Rayner?

What happened to Wally West?

What happened to Green Arrow's kid, whasisname, Conner something?

What's Pa Kent's status post 'New 52'? How about Jason Todd's?

Did Starro ever menace the JLA again?

1. He tore half of it out after seeing the first picture of Ledger's Joker in 2007. He tore the other half out when he saw the Leto Joker reveal pic.

2.Deported.

3. Tanning bed accident changed his skin color.

4. Connor sued Ollie for back child support.

5. Pa Kent was taken by a tornado and brought to the land of Oz. He'll be guest starring on next season's Once Upon A Time. His advice to Emma will be to let all the fairytale characters die.

6. Jason Todd found Superboy Prime, punched him and for some reason became Kid Miracleman.

7. Starro was given a court ordered restraining order that stated he was not allowed within 500 feet of the JLA.

Is this pre-crisis or post-crisis?

This all went down in a Final Crisis tie in mini series that Morrison wrote, but only makes sense when you read the Wikipedia page dedicated to it and various web commentary made by fans trying to explain it to other fans. I believe it was called Grant Morrison's DC Direct Currents Beyond. The foreword to the collected trade is written by an editor of an Alt News Weekly no one has ever heard of praising it as genius.

When the people in charge of DC say - Don't touch my food in the fridge - they mean it.

Anything specific you want to know DJ? I'll hook you up as best as I can. And yes, that last ep was good. Lots of stuff coming to a head. I realky like the show... It just has quite a few things that bring my enthusiasm to a screechinh halt far too often.

I'm familiar with the animated films but I just wish I had the some love for DC as I do Marvel since I grew up reading their comics. Would be fun to enjoy the Easter eggs they put into the show. But I do enjoy the DCCWverse and will continue to watch them. I def think they made the right move by doing Bats vs Supes I'm just hoping all the cameos don't bring down the film and cheapen the movie or make it too convoluted like what happened to TASM2

I get you. I was a fan of both, worked at a comic shop in high school even. The Flash show is doing a good job with adapting lots of stuff. The homages and Easter eggs are cool, like Barry running to Coast City (Green Lantern's home town) or name dropping Cameron Scott when they were looking for Plastique (That was a cover name for the Post Crisis version of Captain Atom, a character with a strong history with Gen. Eiling, played by Clancy Brown on the show).

I just wish that they SHOWED more of Barry being smart and creative with his power and not needing the STAR crew to help him out. He has a job that is all about being thorough and precise, and he is supposed to be well versed in science as well... but too often they write him going in blind and are too inconsistent with the extent and use of his powers. And everything about the stuff concerning Iris I just can't stand, especially the actress. Still, on balance the show is doing well.

Damn I can't wait to get off work and go see Age of Ultron tonight! It's going to be so awesome

I'm going Monday. Hope it's good. :)

Deej I could've given you a good version of AOU last week. If only you asked.

So I struggle with insomnia a lot. Also, I have an incredibly restless dog that after his potty break at 7 in the morning (at the latest) likes to commence endlessly pacing over every inch of the downstairs and whining incessantly until he gets to go play outside again.

Well, sorry dog, but I need more sleep than you do, apparently.

Anyway, I found a 10 hour video on YouTube of the sounds of gentle rain and thunder. Not only did I zonk out to that ****, but with the volume turned up enough, I couldn't hear the clattering around downstairs. Most days I don't get a wink of sleep past 7. Today I slept comfortably until 10 in the morning, which for me anymore is almost unheard of.

I feel so much more refreshed this morning than usual, and I think lack of sleep (and incessant dog whining creeping into my brain like Chinese water torture) was contributing to my stress factor these last few days.

Have you ever considered using ear plugs? It would help to cancel out the noise.

I've tried it, but the problem with ear plugs is I like to sleep on my side, and that makes it hard to have ear plugs in.

Oh dear god I am in a similar predicament. Got a new puppy, he wakes me up at obscene times in the morning. Get up, take him out.. have to keep a tight watch on him, we're trying to crate train *sigh*.
So he won't let me go back to sleep in my own bed.. no, that would be unheard of LOL.. the noise is atrocious and earplugs do NOTHING to block it out.

But if I just say **** it and get up for the day, he will go right to his own little bed and sleep. He just wants me to suffer I swear.

I never wanted children.. now I have one, the only difference is it's furry.

When will I ever sleep again...

When we were still housebreaking our puppy we put a dog bed right next to ours. We put an eyebolt in the wall and then used a very short leash, one only long enough for the bed and like magic puppy slept through the night. She wasn't crying because she wanted out, she didn't want to be alone in the other room in the crate. Having the bed on the floor next to us was the compromise. I won't have a dog right in bed with us but beside us was good enough for both of us. :)

My mothers dog is still whining non-stop in the early morning. I'm pretty sure she's going to murder him one day because she usually only goes to sleep after 1am and he wakes her around 7 am.

This sounds like a good approach. I wish we had been more creative with it.

We've already mucked that up I think. We have a large crate (this is a saluki puppy so already pretty big at 4 months) right next to the bed, it was all nice and cuddly inside. (I didn't want the crate in the bedroom but it just ended up that way).

He wouldn't have it the first night, and was eventually let in the bed with us. Has been sleeping there every night since.. our attempts at keeping him in his own at night are obviously conflicting with that.

So now the intense separation anxiety lingers. It's not only when he's in the crate, but when anything he's familiar with is gone or he can't get from room to room as he pleases.
We're making headway training him in every other area but this one lol.

2 years ago close to wintertime I bought a boxer puppy for myself & we kept him inside the house. Every day & night I'd have to look after him & tend to him. LOL He'd bark up a storm at night, because he didn't like being by himself, so sometimes I'd keep him in my bedroom & he on his bedding, box, etc.

When he was old enough, we put him outside, & it's all worthwhile now, playful & barking a lot too. :oldrazz:

I'm not proud of this, but one night, after about a week straight of being woken up all hours of the night, I went storming downstairs and smacked him in the face twice with a book. He made this kind of startled little yelp that made me feel a little guilty, but this had been building up all week.

It got a lot better when we started crating him. He usually stays quiet between the hours of 11 at night and between 6 and 7 in the morning, but the pacing and whining is incessant from the crack of dawn until bedtime. He can go outside and start whining again within like 30 seconds.

The one good thing is that once we wake up for the day, between all of his typical outrageous puppy behavior he naps A LOT. So at least I can manage to get work done.
But sleep.. once I'm up, I have stuff to do and it's just easier to do stuff than to try going back to sleep.. lol.

I'm sure it will get better once he's grown. This breed is supposed to be pretty cat-like and independent.

He's so adorable it's hard to get mad at him, I hate disciplining him (even moreso because he doesn't really care when I do :hehe: ) Joke's on me..

Just closed 3 customers back to back to back. I'm a beast when it comes to sales. If you're on my phone you will get sold

Happy birthday?
[blackout]24 days too early.[/blackout]

I'm a tad disappointed that Jackson didn't do anything to fix JRRT's villains in the Rings Trilogy being thinly veiled working class agitators threatening the bourgeoisie. It sticks out like a sore thumb in an otherwise beautiful trilogy.
