LOL thanks CC.

:tmm::tmm::tmm::tmm:

Congrats!
Thanks. Despite my comment, I am actually excited about the new gig as it's the first non-temporary job I've gotten in the field I went to school for.

I'm also sitting here watching the John Williams AFI tribute sobbing my eyes out and can't tell if it's because I'm so tired or just that E.T. always gets to me, lol.

What did you go to school for? I went for marketing, and for some reason don't really do marketing (anymore) lol

Film and Television was my major, but my emphasis was on video editing, which is what this is.

Congratulations on your new job, flick. You're doing what you love?

Flick I hope you use the extra funds from your new gig to buy awesome shirts and then post them in the shirt thread. ;)

Flick is a big time editor now... companies send her the shirts.

I already get free shirts at my other job, lol. They're usually hideous, though.

i forgot what your other job is

on that note, for one of my other jobs, i'm working for Dave Matthews Band Friday

and i just read that Grandma Yetta has passed away :(

Nice, CC.

My other job is at a indie/foreign movie theater. The distributors of those movies often send T-shirts to help promote the movies. And most truly are hideous. For example, when we had the documentary The Other Dream Team, we got those famous Grateful Dead shirts of the 1992 Lithuanian Olympic basketball team. For those too young to remember, this is what they looked like:

I mean yes, there's a powerful story behind them, but that doesn't mean I can make that look work in any year other than 1992.

We also got shirts for that movie For a Good Time Call... And it's literally just a hot pink shirt that says in big bold letters, "For a Good Time Call..." Never wearing that one outside the house, lol.

Just remembered this funny message I got the other day from this chick I went to high school with randomly on Bookface the other day. She said she saw I was a huge Marvel fan and then proceeded to tell me how her fave shows are the Flash and Arrow and she was waiting for new seasons to start on Netflix. :lmao:

She also commented on a joke I made and asked if it was okay to laugh at it which I thought was odd since it was clearly a joke.

Sweet. I've always wanted to see him play live. :)

This Man is now our Superman on Supergirl, love it!

Although he ain't no Cavill. :o

I for one, wish DC would stop screwing around & make their entire universe all one, not separate tv land & movie land.
