I'll keep it short. Just looking to see what, for the lucky number of us seeing the next spectacular installment of the Star Wars Saga on première night (7pm, Dec. 17th here in the US, East Coast), you'll be doing to prepare yourself for the wait.

This can include ANYTHING that involves how you'll spend your time in line or how early you'll be lining up, or anything really.

As for myself, I'll be seeing this glorious film at IMAX Marbles here in Raleigh, NC, opening night. Unfortunately, they don't do reserved seats, so I'll be doing the classic style of waiting in line for a looooooong time.

Looking for a few ideas on how to pass the time as well! Haha.

Share and ENJOY.

Ant, I'll be over at Crossroads at 8:30 next Thursday, since I just wanted to see it in 2D first. My plan is to leave work, go home and walk my dogs, eat, and then go get in line by 6:45. My wife and my father will join me later so they don't have to sit there for a few hours.

By trying to sneak into a press screening.

That's awesome! Didn't expect to hear from someone nearby so soon. I'm wondering how early I should get in line. Took the day off...but don't really wanna wait more than 12 hours...

Newp, I don't even know of any here in Athens :oldrazz:

I'll probably get there 45 minutes before showtime. Seats are booked already so no rush there but with the amount of screenings booked up, I don't want to get caught in line at the concession stands. Probably too early but better too early than too late. Read Shattered Empire during that day before going too.

I'm having a SW marathon that day (the 17th). Myself and 9 other friends. Some of which have never seen SW and only know the casual details about it, and others who haven't seen them in a long time. We're watching the original trilogy only, and then we're seeing TFA that very night at 10:30pm.

I have the original trilogy on DVD (the special editions and non-special editions) so we're going to watch the non-special editions. I even went out and bought a brand new 50' TV and sound system for this event! And I bought a slew of SW bowls and platters from ThinkGeek for all our chips and veggies and pizzas through out the night.

Our tickets have reserved seating so we won't have to worry about that. I just hope we aren't all burned out by the time TFA begins haha. That's why I figure we have a veggie platter for ANH, then order pizzas for ESB, then have chips and munchies for ROTJ.

Do you guys have any suggestions as to what are good foods to eat and drink to avoid massive burn out? I know the answers may be obvious (Water, etc...) but you never know unless you ask!

Maan, really wishing I didn't have to worry about seating. I don't even know how early they're letting people line up. I was hoping to find some groups online that are going to the same showing, just so I'll know when to line up...

I'm going the opening day, not even gonna consider going to the Thursday premier..too many people

Right now, I'm just trying and failing to take my mind off it as much as possible. Right prior to the midnight screening, I actually have no idea.
