How best to organize the "batcave" ...

Greetings SHH Batman fans.

I have a section of my bookcase where I store my graphic and trade paper comics, almost exclusively Batman.

I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion on how I can organize them in a meaningful way or if there are any resources I can use.

I am thinking that it would be to primarily help me sort them, but also create a way to have a running checklist for new titles?

I would appreciate any help.

Alphabetical or by year published seems the most logical. Or am I misunderstanding your question.

I guess I was wondering if I should be doing it by chronological or title of book.

Your suggestion is good. I am thinking that they will be spine out so that would be a problem to check them all the time ...

i am organizing it by chronological order, even though i dont have that many tpb's yet like in the way things happened in the main storyline not like the years they came out

I do mine in order of events. I think they flow quite well with characters this way.
