Youtube is legal (barely) because it's policed for content. And downloading the videoes is legal, because unlimited sharing is part of the Terms of Agreement all youtube users agree to when uploading the videoes. There is no copyright or any other legal prevention. Although I don't about the legality of sownloading from the other sites that link lets you get video from.
