How do I get a second player in Madden 07 (Wii)

I can't seem to figure this one out....I want to play a two player game but apparently I'm really dumb.......Can someone gimme a hand with that?

Sorry to keep bumping and bugging...this isn't me at all, but I've got friends coming over in about 2 hours to play some Madden and I've been messing with it for hours...I can't figure it out.....

Please help if you can....this will be the last tim I ask and then this thread can fade away into nothingness.
