Surprisingly positive, even going as far as saying that it is superior (at least in some ways) to the 360 version. Chances are, if you're buying a Wii, the last thing on your mind is buying a game like Madden NFL 07, but you should at least give it a rent and see how you like it. Nintendo fans need to show third party developers that their software can sell on the Wii system.

I was just about to say that. The Wii is made for games like this. Almost everyone knows how to play football, so it's almost a pick-up and play kinda game. Look at what Nintendo is packaging the Wii with, Wii Sports. They're games everyone knows how to play in reality, so they'll be easy to understand on the console, due to their vast similarities.

I skipped all other versions of Madden 07 because I plan on picking it up for the Wii.

I think Madden's version on Wii will get more of the hardcore gamers that aren't into sports games into it because of how it's played. And the guys that are into only sports games, aka all the dudes I hang out with, will take an interest as well if they can literally get physical with it.

Oh, I was under the impression that Wii owner will go after the games built for the ground-up for the Wii, not ports. But this port definitely great.
