How do I play FLAC files?

I have a Mac and I have no idea how to play FLAC files. Is it possible to play them on my iPod?

You'll need something like Cog to play FLAC files on a Mac. If you want to play those files on your iPod, though, you'll need to convert them to .mp3 format and then import them into iTunes for synching, first. I like Max for doing the file conversion.

Get VLC media player.

VLC is pretty clunky to use for music though. It's my DVD player of choice, but it's really annoying to try to navigate a library or whatever.

Yeah, same here. It's a great video and DVD player but there are much better options out there for audio.
