How do you guys track your collections?

I'm shocked by the geekiness of Excel spreadsheets.

I just know where my stuff is. Spreadsheets FTL!

Hey!

This may be the wrong place to post this, but I haven't found a forum for selling your collection. (if there is a place, please direct me)

I'm going through and selling of parts of my collection. Not that I dont like my collection, I'm just done with lugging them around here and there.

I'm selling them under my wife's ebay account: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZmotherearthdancer

If you would, check them out. Rock bottom pricing on some of them.

I'll be putting up some Image and Ghostrider related auctions shortly.

Again, sorry if this is the wrong forum.

Heh, I'm tempted to go for that Slapstick series, even though I'm pretty sure I already have it... somewhere.

Eh, it's harmless spam that could get you some cheap comics. I'm okay with it.

Did you look at what that guy is charging for shipping? That'll kill any tempation you may have.

I'm not trying to spam or anything. I've been lurking around lately, and decided to see if posting here would increase traffic to my auctions.

As for the comment on shipping, I'm just putting in the estimated price the Post Office site gives me. I could just throw up a couple dollars in freight and throw the comics into a manila envelope. But I want to box up the comics so they ship without damage. And if you win multiple auctions, the freight charges come down. (The best mailing looked to be the Priority Flat Rate which is whatever you can fit into the box for $10)

I'm looking to get rid of some of my collection, and if there are people looking to pick up some 90s Fan Boy type issues, now is the chance. A good comics to a good home kind of thing.

Oh, also: One thing I cant believe I'm putting up on Ebay, but I'm curious to see how it goes is a first print of the Mallrats Script, signed by Kevin Smith.

There is an art to packing comics cheaply and without damage. Learn it, and then get back to me. :o
