Infinity War How insane should the Mad Titan be?

Very insane

[BLACKOUT]In the membrane[/BLACKOUT]

Crazy enough that he's not constantly babbling incessantly.

He should be calm, intelligent, controlled, educated about the universe, and well spoken. His motives and his focus are what make him scary.

I don't think he's crazy, just crazy in love! He is trying to court death. Many men have done many strange things for many kinds of women.

Crazy? Why would he be crazy? He's Thanos, not the Joker.

Well there's delusions to outright hallucinations.

There's neurotic to outright psychotic.

There's mildly eccentric to a complete sociopath.

Hey! Someone who appears to be educated in psychology

Neuroticism is insanely common these days. Karen Horney was a genius

I want him to be very intelligent but very devoted to his cause.

I don't want too much love obsessed Thanos though. He can badly want Hela/Death attention, but it can't be like the comics.

Thanos should be intelligent, calculating, intimidating, powerful, and calm whom has a long history and presence through out the cosmos of committing acts of terror and genocide.

He doesn't need to be "crazy" in the sense of being mentally unhinged with unpredictable behavior. He should have purpose and his motivation is a driving force. A force of pure evil.

Calm, controlled, authoritative, but a megalomaniac.

^ This. Thanos evokes elegance no matter what he does. Regardless of the depths he sinks to, he should always have a regal feeling that accompanies him.

the title of this thread reads like clickbait.

There are signs of bloodlust when he's beating down others. He tends to smile ear to ear with glee.

And supposedly he got his name from when he talks to Death and no one else can see her.

That only really occurs in Thanos Rising. Everywhere else (i.e Infinity Gauntlet, various Deadpool stories, etc.) it's made abundantly clear that Death is visible by everyone present and not just the Mad Titan.

While I love Thanos Rising and it's inclusion of that facet, it doesn't jive with the rest of continuity where other characters blatantly acknowledge her presence.

Missed this before but being crazy is usually described as being mentally unhinged to the point that it manifests itself in an extreme manner that can be aggressive and wild, in which case Thanos, the Joker and a plethora of other supervillains easily fit the bill.
