I have, it's a short read and really interesting and exciting. Fleming writes in amazing detail, and he makes Bond much more fascinating than any of the movies(thus far) have portrayed him to be. It's abit old fashioned, but man Bond is dark character and a real masculine bastard. He fantasises about boning Vesper and can't wait till he's finished the job so he can giver her one.

I would highly reccomend reading it. Quite dark and gives a great insight into Bond's mentality. Fleming even makes a game of baccarat exciting to read. It's also gonna be fun looking out for the stuff in the movie that they kept from the book.

I loved the book and from im hearing from the movie it will be close and updated so it shouldnt feel old.

Read it twice. I purchased the novel a long time ago because I was certain the producers wouldn't have made it into a film. How things change. I read it again early this year to refresh my memory. Awesome book. Short and sweet.

I've read the novel many, many times. I'm a big fan of the Fleming novels.

I read both CR and Live and Let Die. Plan to read them in order...

Oh, almost forgot. I agree, great stuff!

In the past two months I read the first three Bond novels.

I've read it 6 tmes. I'm about to star reading GF for the second time.

I started on Goldfnger yesterday....pretty cool. He's just agreed to look into Goldfinger's scam.

I think the beggining of that book wuld make a cool pre title sequence on film, where Bond blows up that factory and then kills that Spanish guy with his bare hands.
