I saw a similar topic in another forum and thought I'd start one here. If I see a spider in my house, I let it go outside. What about you guys?

I'd....

kill it?

It shouldn't crawl up into my space if it wants to live.

I used to love spiders as a child, all due to Spider-Man, strangely developed arachnophobia since I was in high school

I don't kill them. Flies like to buzz around and bother me, and the spiders are on my side. I just don't like them invading my personal space. I mostly let them outside if there are no flies.

My brothers would gather a few spiders to get a little spider wrestling match going on, though :oldrazz:

I'm fine with the small ones if there is enough space between us. But everthing bigger or next to me...:wow: well maybe you could call it arachnophobia. I hate especially this one (Cross Spider?!), used to be very afraid of them when i was little and saw such a thing in webs in the garden.

Though I don't like spiders, I do have a pair of spider earrings because of Spider-Man:whatever:

I hate spiders and bugs and all that cross my path get squashed

The only time I'll do anything about a spider in the house is if there are children around. Otherwise I'm fine with them.

When I was a kid I would catch spiders and keep them in little jars and such, but a few years ago I got a nasty bite from one in my sleep. I'm still not scared of them really, but I smash them if I find them in or near my bedroom.

The Camel Spider is real, but that pic is being labeled as fake ever since it was taken....

but....it does look like this

supposedly the size of a plate. My friend is overseas and have yet to see one, but he's heard a story of one being inside someone's duffle bag and it crawled out and bit some other dude while he was asleep. Freaky stuff.

Don't know why the first picture of the two spiders is labeled as fake though, because they look about the same size, but maybe it's fake because they made it look thicker than what the spiders actually are.

Thanks for the information.
Hm, maybe it's only the camera angle why the two ugly spiders look so big and it's not fake?!

Camera illusion....much of how Nolan plans to make Bane look bigger/taller, haha.

Somehow these images of camel spiders made me feel like having mashed potatoes, that never happened before

The one of the camel spiders is labeled as fake cause people said it was one huge spider but its actually two.

It's two spiders, yes. People are stupid to believe it was one, but it's fake because it's too bigger/thicker than what camel spiders actually look like as well.

Goddamnit. I knew there'd be pictures in this thread. -__________-

Same here. I can't bring myself to kill one. They eat the things that TRULY annoy me, like flies & mosquitoes.

I really do have arachnophobia. They scare the **** out of me, they look horrifying. I hate that some of them are poisonous and the bastards bite you when you sleep. I scrolled past those pics up there so fast. :o

However, if I see one I don't freak out and run away. I kill that thing so quick.
Just recently one was on my arm when I was watching a movie with my brother. I knocked it on the floor and it was crawling, so, with nothing to hit with, I punched it. Really. Hard.

So how did you get to be a spidey fan?

Watching the animated series when it was on, so I had to be 4 or 5. I used to get the action figures when I was little. :D
I then started getting Incredible Hulk comics, then got into Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, Spawn, so on and so on. Then I would get Marvel books (just about the whole universe) and Spider-Man easily remained my top #1 superhero. I remember the comics would talk about the movie in the letter pages and stuff, which really got me excited. Then in 2001 that poster for the film came online, and the teaser, and the Goblin poster. Those films were like 90% of my life lol. I've always loved Spidey, and it helps tons that he doesn't resemble a SPIDER. I think it's the legs that get me the most on them. >_< I don't even have a problem with having the Spider-Man symbol as my phone background or anything. It's just spiders themselves.
Hell, even Man-Spider doesn't scare me.

I DID hate it in the animated series when he had the dream where his body was a spider though.

I like spiders.

But if it crawls on me, you better believe it's not gonna stay alive for long.
