How many posts a day on a messageboard cry "get me a social life"?

It takes more than just the number of posts because I post all day at work, where I have to be to earn money. I can't enjoy my social life while I'm at work.
And then, when I get off I have a shockingly exquisite social life, while retaining the crapload of posts, I posted, when I was at work, for eight whole hours, or more sometimes.

You could have a person who only has 24 posts in one day, and another who has 50.

But if the first person got those 24 posts by lurking at home and posting once an hour for 24 hours straight.......and the second person posted 50 posts at work, and then got off work and went to a party where he met all his friends and they laughed and laughed all night and then he had a menage a trois with a redhead and her sister.........
who's missing out more on Real Life...the person with 24 posts or the one with 50?

Do you get how that works? :)

^ what he said.

Some of these posts stem from having debates with other people about actual topics, so it depends. If you're just posting random gibberish then yes, I would say you have no life.

This is why, I laugh when I see n00bs who've signed up solely to promote their self-produced "Rap" album, or what have you...so I listen to their songs on Myspace, and they suck pale, hairy ass...so I come back and say, "It's sad how your music sucks such pale, hairy ass."
And they go, "What do YOU know?!? You have 40,000 posts, so you're just some obese nerd ******* in his momma's BasemeNt!

I WAS on topic.
I proved to you that no, you can't use number of posts to indicate lack of Life.

I'm with this one... But the ones who have amassed tens of thousands within such a small timeframe... That's a little too much.

So we have an alternate point of view, excellent! Let the highbrow debate begin.

If your PPD is over, say... 50, that's pretty excessive. I mean, I usually put in at least an hour a day, but more lately because I'm trying to hit 10,000. I imagine after that I'll be a little more scarce.

You have a very plausible post count.

I see, but you don't post much, are you the lurker he was talking about?

:)

Lol, nope. I'm on here once, maybe twice if the day is real slow, a day. Usually for no longer than an hour at a time.

I post a lot less than I used to, back in the day I could do a 100 a day.

I think if your average posts per day exceeds 30, you need help.

I'll tell you the answer to your question tomorrow. Maybe.
