Just saw it tonight in 2D. Gonna see it next week in 3D, so I will be seeing it twice t:

Once. Watch a film once in theaters, then again on blu-ray/dvd and then not again for at least two-three years and then I either don't watch it until I forget it (so it's as enjoyable as the first time, still trying to forget all of Paper Mario) or watch it on TV like it's fair game.

Since I moved back home, I have to deal with the local theater which is sadly more expensive than the chain back in the city (at least with them, I had a rewards card, which provided free concessions/tickets every few weeks.) Back home, I pay premium for admission with no rewards points. So, sadly, this will probably be my only viewing, unless my date wants to catch it. However, I will be preordering this onBD as soon as it hits Amazon and will be watching periodically, as I love it as much as X2.

I've watched DoFP twice for now and I think that will be enough. I'm glad I've re-watched it but it didn't win me over enough for further repeats.

Hard to tell if I really saw it once or twice in that case.

Saw it first time at preview screening in 3D. 3D was quite good.

Saw at cinema in 2D. That was great.

Will see again with partner next week.

Then will see at the Giant Screen near me when it opens there on June 12. Giant Screen is 70ft by 42ft, largest screen in region and second largest in all of UK. Not sure why it's not already showing, but they told me they will get it on June 12.
