Days of Future Past How are you watching the film?

Me? I already saw it. :awesome:

Lucky! I know you probably can't say anything but if I'm more of a of the FC cast will I be happy with this? As in does it feel like a true sequel? Or is at least well balanced between the two casts?

I'll watch it in 2D (3D is a waste of money), and if I can't find an early showing with a smaller audience, then I'll wait about a month.

It saddens me to find out that Bryan filming this in 3D doesn't make this a must-see 3D movie.

Its well balanced in my opinion. If you loved First Class you will not be disappointed. The FC cast gets more of the spotlight. The 70s Portion of the film feels so authentic and real.

Because its not in IMAX. That is the problem here. the 3D would be great if it didn't blur and darken the picture as much as it does. With an IMAX projection you do not have that problem.

Hmmm I've seen Resident Evil Afterlife in a normal 3D theater and I thought the 3D was amazing.

But yes IMAX is amazing, though the only 3D Films I watched in IMAX are Harry Potter 5, 6 and 8.

Thats not true at all, the 3D of that movie was really clear. It wasn't like Clash of the Titans where you can only notice the 3d for like 5 minutes. Plus, they said that the camera they used for the Resident Evil movie was the same camera that James Cameron used for Avatar.

I don't believe just because its not in IMAX, the 3D will automatically suck. There are other factors for producing good 3D.

I love 3d, so I'll be checking this out in 3d. I just wish it would have been released in IMAX 3D. For now, I'll have to go to the nearest Cinemark to see it on their XD format.

I'm going to the midnight showing which I think is 2D. Depending on how good it is, I expect I'll see it 4 or 5 times, (I saw Avengers 5 times) so I'll check out both formats at least once.

Watching it first in 3D as thats the first available viewing plus the 3D trailer actually looked really good so quite happy to watch it 3D this time as Cap2 was dark and dingy and was much much better in 2D.

DOFP is dark and dingy as Cap was. The 3d effects are better, but it doesn't effect he brightness or clarity unfortunately.

Ah thats a shame, the trailer didnt look too bad. Cap2 really suffered though from the 3D and I thought DOFP would fair better, but the opening of Cap2 was hard to see what the hell was going on. I shall make sure I catch DOFP at least once in 2D if thats the case:up:
