how much does Vengeance of Bane cost?

Don't trust the scalpers. Prices are up to laughable highs because of Bane being in TDKR. If you can't find one really cheap, just wait till the hype of the movie dies down.

I got a copy for a dollar a few years ago. It's not a rare book.

I bought a mint condition copy of Volume 1 about 3 months ago for $12; if I were in your shoes, I'd call all of your local comic shops and see how much they're selling it for. Chances are most of them still have them between the $10-20 range. Don't quote me however; I've ran into one shop that charged $100, due that his shop was selling out all of their copies. Profits are profits though.

If you have no luck with any stores, I definitely recommend eBay or milehighcomics.com; both will have it and at a reasonable price.

Let me know if you have any more questions; I already know of a few comics and graphic novels that TDKR might use for influences.

what a wanker. Get it on eBay... then bring it in and show it to the guy and tell em you got for way less.

$10-12 is till too much for a 64 page I don't care who the writer/artist is, or what the high demand for it is, search deep in those $1 longboxes at conventions you're bound to find one like I did.

All I have is the Phoenix Comic Con convention, and I can't afford to a day ticket pass there. That and honestly I didn't mind spending that kind of money; now if it was $20, then yeah, I'd look for it elsewhere. But I liked it, and thought it was a good investment; that and I picked up 1-4 of Bane of the Demon and an original print of Birth of the Demon for $40.

It can be pricey, but at the same time it's worth it for collecting and the people I buy from are the best.
