4 Minutes, 53 Seconds

+ a post credits scene

5-10 minutes.Similar to vision in AOU or quicksilver in DOFP

Well definitely not just a cameo.

I said 15-20 minutes. Marvel didn't make this big deal for a brief cameo.

2 hours and 35 minutes of total screen time, and the movie may not even last that long.

But It's his movie

He's the main character after all.

I am going with still at least ten minutes in total. We got to remember this pete has to meet with at least stark and cap in the film. So I would say two scenes as pete. And two scenes of spidey in action. No way it be just a quick blink yoy missed it Stan Lee cameo. He will at least get a few minutes and at least one big wow moment of the film.

wasn't it stated somewhere that marvel had a backup script of cap3 in case sony didn't comply with a crossover?

so they had 2 scripts, 1 with spiderman and 1 without (with black panther in a large role) so can't we presume that spidey will have a decent role?

Ya that has been said. Another thing I hope is once actor is revealed we get details on how long he will shoot for. If we get at least 2 to 4 weeks. He has to have at least 8 to 10 mins. If he is only there for a few days then I would say smaller time. But come on logically they will want to go big with spidey back. So it be something like the vision.

No idea. We're guessing, just like the casting debate.

I'm picturing something a bit less than Hawkeye in the first Avengers film. He'll appear throughout, have a small arc, but not a whole lot character development. Just an introduction to the character

If they did have two scripts, it's not a big role. They wouldn't have had time to completely alter schedules etc. based on whether the deal went ahead

Yep.

Probably appear in the final act and feature in the 'final battle'. Will probably play a role similar to that of Vision in AOU, and they'd probably want to put in a scene as great as the DOFP Quicksilver one in as well to increase hype.

5-10 Minutes although hopefullly less

I highly doubt it

Not really we don't know what was the differences between spidey script and non spidry script. I still say we will see him for like ten mins. And at least 4 or so scenes in total.

Not unless they planned for Spidey' scenes to be film towards the end of production from the beginning. Since they knew casting him would be a lengthy process they could have accounted for that. They fast track all of Black Widow scenes for AoU to finish early due to her pregnancy. There's always ways around it if necessary. Beside it's not unheard of to do reshoots. Just all depends.

I highly doubt it
Why not? All you need for a story arc is a beginning, middle, and end. He get's recruited, fights in the middle of this conflict, and at the end has gained a new perspective on being a hero. Not saying he'll be a major character, but will have some sort of presence throughout. To put it in perspective Hannibal Lector only has 16 minutes of screen time in Silence of the Lambs but has a major presence through the film.

Maybe enough to get us hyped for his movie

I voted 5-10, but a more accurate answer would be "however much time Quicksilver had in DOFP." I think that's comparable, but forget how much it was.

Come on we know pete will have to meet stark cap and what ever other mcu heroes. And I am sure he be in a action scene in middle and end of film. They will want to use him. It's not like we are saying he needs to be in 40 mins or more. That be cap and stark. Then hawkeye widow getting likely what they got in aou. And bp likely getting around thor time from aou. And we could toss spidey in as amount of time vision or thor is a likely good amount.

Similar length of time to Quicksilver in DoFP. If he had more scenes he would have been cast sooner.
