How much screen-time will he have?
Sounds about right.5-10 minutes.Similar to vision in AOU or quicksilver in DOFP

I'm picturing something a bit less than Hawkeye in the first Avengers film. He'll appear throughout, have a small arc, but not a whole lot character development. Just an introduction to the character
Not unless they planned for Spidey' scenes to be film towards the end of production from the beginning. Since they knew casting him would be a lengthy process they could have accounted for that. They fast track all of Black Widow scenes for AoU to finish early due to her pregnancy. There's always ways around it if necessary. Beside it's not unheard of to do reshoots. Just all depends. If they did have two scripts, it's not a big role. They wouldn't have had time to completely alter schedules etc. based on whether the deal went ahead
Why not? All you need for a story arc is a beginning, middle, and end. He get's recruited, fights in the middle of this conflict, and at the end has gained a new perspective on being a hero. Not saying he'll be a major character, but will have some sort of presence throughout. To put it in perspective Hannibal Lector only has 16 minutes of screen time in Silence of the Lambs but has a major presence through the film.I highly doubt it
