How popular are the Avengers and FF compared to other teams?

If we're talking about within the MU, I think the FF are more popular. Sales wise, not so much.

Within the MU? Avengers (seeing as they just took down crazy pants Osborne on national T.V.)

To the public at large? Sales say the Avengers as well.

In the MU I'd say the Avengers and FF are more respected by the public and not feared as the X-Men.

But when it comes to sales I don't think even when John Byrne wrote the FF in the 80's were sales ever high, ditto for whichever creative team was on Avengers. The X-Men when it came to sales buried them both.

Maybe Avengers was selling well with the whole Secret Invasion, Civil War but not like X-Men numbers.

That's cuz more people read comics back then. Or at least more people bought comics. Doesn't necessarily mean they read them. (f**kin' 90's)

in the MU i'd say Avengers...they have a day in NY and then the FF

Avengers for both MU & real life.

The Avengers are gonna be top dog within the super hero teams in the next couple years.
