How talkative are you as a whole?

I don't really talk a lot in school..I'm quiet there. Everywhere else I'll talk for quite a bit.

If I don't feel comfortable then I won't talk. When I feel that everyone else won't talk then I start asking random coversation starters.

Do uncomfortable silences bother you so much that you have to keep the conversation going? Any subject brought up MUST have your opinion? Some guy here at work attempted to tell me in secrecy that another coworker we both know talks way too damn much, as in, "he talks just to hear himself talk." My mom feels my dad and I are both quiet, as we both can sit with each other watching a game or something and not say **** for hours until something significant happens. I've always been more of the "actions speak louder than words" type, where I may interject a sarcastic remark or a decision about something, but won't go all into detail.

You sound like the spitting image of me. I have 3 sisters and 1 brother. Me, my dad and my brother are usually quiet. My sisters, and mom can talk a hole through a brick wall. I hate watching movies with them, they talk about just about every little thing they see on the dam screen...

Same here. I talk with some people more than with others, but on the whole, I'm pretty silent.

I'm usually not that talkative at first. Though that might change later on. Just depends on the person, or people around me. Knowing someone well enough to have non verbal communication become somewhat of a common occurance can be a great thing as well.

i'm talkative but it weirds me out when strangers try to start a conversation. i d never do that . It usually means there is something strange about them .

I don't like to talk my head off. People who do annoy me to no end- I get the feeling that they can never catch the concept that not everyone wants to hear them gab about how their relationship's going or when they're going to their dorm to smoke some weed and whatnot. I distance myself from people like that when I can to avoid saying something about it.

I talk a lot. I hate awkward silences. Usually. Awkward silences, to me, are like having sex with a fat woman. It's not desirable, but when lack of a good conversation (sexy lady) is evident, sometimes you just gotta take what you get.

I can talk a lot with my friends, but I'm very shy around new people. Only after, like, a couple weeks of class will I talk more in school. After that, if I don't talk, the teacher asks if something's wrong.
But I'm both shy and not so shy.
