I know we are living in a time with so many comic book movies a year, but it is still kind of surreal we are finally going to get that modern, big screen Wonder Woman movie.

I always hear war film buffs hating on that film.

That's probably because it sucks. It's a pretentious artsy bit of "Look at me, I'm making the war movie to end all war movies because everyone will be so bored sick by the end of mine they won't want to watch any more war movies."

Currently watching my 3rd WWII movie for today (THE BATTLE OF BRITTAN).....

That's probably because it sucks. It's a pretentious artsy bit of "Look at me, I'm making the war movie to end all war movies because everyone will be so bored sick by the end of mine they won't want to watch any more war movies."

That doesn't sound like Terrence Malick at all.

I challenge him to make a movie entirely in the desert....because if he can't have at least an hour of people slowly walking through thigh high grass as its waving in a light breeze, he'll have a nervous breakdown.

They do....every other week at the hair salon.

They use to. Then Thor had that accident, and he had to chop it all off. Now he spends his Thursdays staring longingly into the salon, as Diana and the crew have the best time.

Do you have Netflix? If so I'd like to recommend The Siege of Jadotville to you. It harkens back to the 60's/70's style of Zulu and A Bridge Too Far.

I now really want to watch him watch Lawrence of Arabia. It could be for Malick's career what the "Hearts of Darkness" doc was to "Apocalypse Now".
