How well do the Raimi/Maguire Spider-Man films hold up today?

I think what some people refer to as bad dialogue, or lame/cheesy characterization just comes down to Raimi's style and influence. If you are into it completely you could think these are the greatest CBM's ever (as many do). If you're not into every Raimi idiosyncrasy then you get a very mixed or frustrating reaction to these films because there is such a distictness. You can appreciate it on a certain level, but it's too offbeat to really make a connection.

Some effects are obviously outdated but overall they don't just hold up, 1 and 2 are still my favorite live action spidey films
