It's always been my dream to draw on a batman title.

Got any work to show us? You know, to size you up?

that's a great dream, just be prepared to work for years on third tier character titles before you ever get a shot at something like batman. but usually, they want to see 5-6 pages of sequential storytelling featuring their characters.

If you want to draw and/or write Batman then just do it. Show it off every chance you get and go to lots of conventions where well known comic book creators are. Cross your fingers and hope for getting noticed.

The best place to get started is to attend comic book conventions and show off your work to as many people as possible. It's essential to network with various professional artists in the industry.

Also, I would suggest taking art classes because you'd have to know everything about what goes into a drawing. It's actually much more complicated than I realized so definitely look into taking art classes. Still-life, landscape, sculpting, shadowing, painting, inking, shading, learn anything and everything art related.
