HUGE Ant Colony Discovered...

Yeah, that's pretty wild. I never would have expected that.

I bet Dew would just LOVE to see that up close.

Too bad for the ants when ten tons of liquid cement was dumped down their nest.

Cool looking results though.

I really hope they preserve that whole thing somehow cuz that's friggin amazing.

i keep wondering why we have the ignorance to believe we are the most intelligent life forms on this planet, there's soooo much stuff we don't know or can't do.

Pompeii ant style.

Took decades to make the city. took science 10 days to break it

It really is a shame what they've done to that. It's a wonderful structure.

If it wasn't destroyed, we would've never found out about it.

What if they were a HUGE Colony of Flying Spiders?

Love the creepy ass music that went along with it. Poor ants.

The narrator forgot to mention,

"...and this was known as the shooting location for the 1998 DreamWorks film, Antz starring Woody Allen"

I want to see the giant ant eater that terrorizes that city.

Reminds me of the acrylic molds they made of mud-shrimp burrows over at the marine science center I studied and worked at. It was cool (but a tiny bit sad) because you could see one or two shrimp encased in the solidified mold. Of course, they're much simpler in arrangement and structure than this.

I've seen this before haha, I felt a little bad for the ants

They'll be back, and when they do...
