Stan Lee says who, that's who. He created Thor to be the most powerful hero in the M.U. But all these writers with bias in favour of Hulk just write him as an indestructible, can beat anyone he wants machine. It's getting really tiresome. And to be honest, I don't even see the big deal about Hulk, i've never found him that interesting. Ohh weedy lab scientist turns into angry giant when he loses his temper! WOW!! That's so interesting.
Stan Lee also said Hulk could beat Superman easily.Stan Lee says who, that's who. He created Thor to be the most powerful hero in the M.U. Or, I could also have you read Hulk: The End in which Hulk outlives all the heroes, and is technically canon. I'm not a Hulk apologist, but Marvel canon places him above 99% of the mainstream Marvel heroes. I mean even as far back as the 1970s he punched time, as in, ya'know, time itself. Silver Surfer and most cosmics could probably will him into nonexistence, but as for heroes like Thor, Hulk could very well beat them. His strength is limitless and technically he is a force of nature: that being rage.right on brother! thor owns the only knock out and the only kill that happened in the "reigning" arc. all done without the thorforce and it's all in continuity.

He didn't, Superman kicked his ass (as he should have -- Superman is still one of the most powerful in comics), I was just pointing out how much of a overblown cheerleader Stan Lee is.Well then Thor must be able to beat Superman even easier!![]()
Stan Lee did. Peter David did. Wein did. If you're going to hold these writers and creators as the standard, then they created Hulk as the most powerful of the heroes. He never tires, he constantly gets stronger, and only a handful of cosmics like Black Bolt and Silver Surfer have a consistent track record against them. Thor doesn't. Hell, Hulk has even managed to lift his Hammer (albeit he kind of found a way around the spell by lifting the road underneath the Hammer then throwing it away).Seriously, I don't mind Hulk. But I don't see him as the best in the M.U. Not atall.
According to you, but those writers obviously treat him with blatant bias because they like him. Hulk is very strong and has beaten Thor in the past, proven too much for even the Avengers, and this was long before WWH. Hell he beat Thor with an admantium statue and put cracks in it with his fingers. There is much more interesting characters out there, why don't the writers treat them with the same blatant bias as they show Hulk?
Stan Lee probably was, it really doesn't matter whether he said it or he didn't. Stan Lee said Spider-Man was his favorite, then he said DareDevil was his favorite because he was the "most original" (even though Doctor Midnight predates him), then he's said the X-Men were his favorite (even though he ditched writing the book quicker than many others), has said Thing was his favorite, and Silver Surfer (who he wouldn't allow anyone else to write initially). Stan Lee basically takes credit for everyone else. He'll say Thor is the most powerful, even though his incarnation was relatively weak compared to future versions...he couldn't even lift 100 tons and Hulk could do that sleeping. He'll say Hulk is the strongest one ever, even though his got beaten by a snake. He'll say X-Men was about racism, even though that theme was adopted after he left the book. He's funny like that.Well where did this quote from Stan Lee about Thor being the most powerful hero in the M.U come from? Has someone been lying to me!?!?!
Rulk did a number on Hulk recently. Ult. Hulk got whooped Power Princess.Hulk got whooped in Exiles. Well, it was a parallel universe Hulk, but hey, still Hulk.
Well to be fair this Thor was much more of a pacifist when it came to the Hulk, and it's not like he was that badly hurt by the Hulk, he just lost, and did seem hesitant to use his powers against him.Yea but Hulk didn't just beat Thor, he pissed all over him. At least make it an even battle.
