Was just reading the graphic novel again and noticed something thats struck me as odd.
In 'Under the Hood' it has a picture of Hollis Mason's Dad, Moe Vernon and Fred Motz and it says under the photo that Mason is 21 in the photo.
But then in the sad story about Vernon and the 'Ride of the Valkyries' it says that it happened a little after Mason's 17th birthday.

What confuses me is that on that night Vernon
kills himself
. How does this make sense if hes with Mason at 21 but this happened a little after his 17th birthday?

Someone explain pleesh

I think you may have misread a photo caption. If you are talking about the pic on pg 28 of issue 1 (pg 2 of under the hood) it says he's 12 making perfect time for the events of his birthday. I must congratulate you though for not skipping the documents, it is the easiest sin to commit while reading this. Keep thoughts about this masterpiece coming!!

Yeah, the picture is of him as a kid. It says under the caption that he's 12 and not 21. At least that's what it says in my copy.

Anyway...
One interesting thing that I did pick up though while reading "Under the Hood" is on pg.8 (top of the page in ch.3) in which it says there were "7 superheroes on the West Coast". I think it's supposed to say East coast. lol

Watchmen has no mistakes. It's perfect.

All Hail Watchmen.

It's not necessarily a mistake but just a typo (at least in the paperback edition that I have).

The thing that the thread starter pointed out was inaccurate (unless he had a version with some sort of misprint). However, the area that I noticed (see previous post) could maybe be a typo?

We need to get rid of people who thinks saying "hurm" is somewhat cool.

Heh, I thought of Rorchark when I read "hurm".

It's kind of a disgruntled/gurgled sound of "hmmm..."
