Hustle & Flow Vs. 8 Mile Vs. Get Rich or Die Trying

Again, none; At least not based on the movies story, plot, etc.
Out of casts I liked Hustle & Flow's the best. I haven't seen one hip-hop movie that was good.

It's the internet; Maturity doesn't exist here.:O

I haven't seen Get Rich or Die Trying yet so I can't comment on that one.I've seen the other two though, and Hustle & Flow is better.

Ihaven't seen get rich or die trying either. i don't even though i even put it on there. but yeah Hustle is better i agree.

I always love seeing all the rap-haters bundle up into a group and start spouting sh1t. Real mature guys.

As for the topic, Hustle & Flow is definitely the best for me. Though 8 Mile comes pretty close. I haven't seen too many hip-hop themed movies lately that piqued my interest, but I'm proud to say these 2 pulled the job off.

Terrence Howard is amazing btw. Truly underrated.

As far as I'm concerned, you can go douse your head with gasoline and light it up like your avvy. Asides from Batman, rap is my next true passion. No one effs with that in front of me. :o

I like 8 mile because it was filmed near where i used to work, but hustle is the better quality movie

Weird Big Head, don't EVER make a post like that again or you are gone

Never mind, he's banned, saw his other thread

I liked 8 Mile, because it wasn't about him trying to get a deal and become some bigtime rapper. I loved that the film specifically takes place in the mid-90s, a time when I think you could still hear a good variety of rap and hip-hop on the radio and on MTV. It all revolved around the local club and freestylin', and I think that's just an important element of hip-hop that seems to be lost on mainstream audiences now.

Hustle & Flow ends a little too cliched for me
with him getting put in prison and once his songs get airplay, he's got that "street cred" rappers are so irresponsibly proud of
. Other than that, I thought it was a great movie, and didn't just focus on rap music, but what forms of music evolved from it. And it had this "Do-It-Yourself" sensibility which is very prevelent in the South when it comes to rappers like from Atlanta or Houston. In that regard, I could appreciate it, even though I'm necessarily not a fan of "crunk" music.

Get Rich or Die Tryin' is just a tired mess of gangsta cliches, and one of the most implausible endings to a movie I've ever seen!! Bad acting across the board, especially from Mister Two-Quarters.

Marcus: My voice sounds different.
Charlene: It's better. It's got more pain in it.

ROFL.

Yeah, the pain that comes from someone squeezing yer testicles!

Hustle & Flow

But 8mile was pretty good. You should have had Waist Deep up there.

Saw 8 mile and Hustle and Flow, I give it to Hustle and Flow.

I haven't seen any of them and I only intend on watching Hustle and Flow, Terrance Howard is an amazing actor.
