Hype TV Club watches Sliders for Feb 2016

I loved this show when I was younger. So, so much. It was up there for me with anthology shows at the time, like The X-Files, Alone in the Dark and Eerie, Indiana. I only later got into the beauty that was the original Twilight Zone. Not that I'm stickler for the other two Twilight Zone shows, I just never really saw them.

Anyways, this reminds me that I'm on the 3rd episode of the 5th and final season on Netflix. It kind of dropped off a cliff with season 5, but I'm finishing it. It's crazy how little I remember from my original viewing. It was a long time ago, though. Remmie was my favorite. The ending was good, but it didn't redeem the final season, if I'm remembering correctly. Really rough.

Ah yes I vaguely remember season 5, what a crappy season to finish on. They clearly ran out of ideas by then.

I'll have to check this out after I eventually get done with the series. I was getting a little worn out with season three, but this does seem to give me something to push toward.

Yea, Im starting to feel the same way, finished Dragonslide last night, spent today going through the Gotham an Metropolis tour guides, and then playing Uncharted 3.

i have to admit, i wasn't a big fan of Sliders. I didn't really feel compelled to watch after the mandatory part but i may visit it again some time in the future, but it's not something that i really feel the need to come back to immediately

I feel the same. It wasn't bad, just didn't hold my interest. Never got around to finishing S2, and I'm not feeling compelled to now. Now to get myself motivated to dive into Bloodline, which sounds like it's ALSO gonna be a bit of a slog, lol.

I know, but A.) that was before I went on my Brit crime show kick that got me in the mood for other stuff, and B.) it was hard for me to come up with shows I hadn't seen and was actually curious about (and weren't already named by other people) for my list. TV is kinda my thing, so I've seen a lot of shows, ok?! That one got good buzz and had a good cast, so I figured, why not. But now that it's actually been chosen I'm just not even excited about it. But I promise I'll power through. I wouldn't subject you guys to it then not watch it myself, lol.
