The recent ep. was amazing, but I could've done without Brock naked and covered in blood for 3/4 of the episode.

I don't know why, but I got really bummed out when I found out this show is all about everyone failing in practically everything they do. It's really depressing.

It definitely would be depressing, if it wasn't a farce. But since it is, it's depressingly hilarious.

I just got the Season 1 DVD, and listening to the commentary is really unsettling. Doc Hammer (writer/voice artist) looks like this:

Yet his normal voice is the one he uses for #21. He completely sounds like he should have a neckbeard/ponytail. It's so bizarre.

It's worth it. The first season had 13 episodes plus the DVD has the pilot (shown only a few times) and a short Christmas episode. If you started watching the second season, the first season will give you much insight on the main characters of the series.
