I fell guilty and need to confess

I've only just seen this thread :O

I won that competition too, although I won it fairly!!
I don't think what you did made much of a difference, I only pursuaded 4 people to join up compared with your 1000s! (But then I did win the 'pose as an X-Men' competition, which gave me loads more points. (It wasn't even me in the pictures, it was a friend)

The prizes I won were an mp3 player , a signed X3 pic with Jimmy Marsdons autograph and 2 premiere tickets to see the movie. I got to meet John Bruno and spent a couple of hours after the film chatting to him!! He told me all about the Mags prequal,

You got an MP3 Player!!?

I got a signed Anna Paquin poster, a RADIO (not MP3 plater :csad: ), 2 T-Shirts, a hat, 2 phone charms, keyrings, CD case, PSP holder, a watch, hologram mousemat and hologram A4 notepad.:woot: :oldrazz:

I have to say that winning the X-Squad was the best thing about 2006 for me.

The poster is of the 3 claws with Jimmys autograph. Its an A1 size. How did I cheat? Well the 1st part was easy. We had to get people to register to the X Squad via their email address. My IT guys wrote a program that made loads of hotmail accounts and replied for me. The second competition was to do an X 3 blog. I submitted a blank URL and got awarded for it??? Then we were asked to send in our own X3 pics so I googled X3 pics and sent those.
this is probably the most dishonest thing i've ever read, you are a legend

Damn X Squad... wasn't open for people in my country :(

Ok. I donno a bit about whatever X-squad was. Was it something organised by SHH??

It was a series of online 'missions' organised by Fox International way back in March (?) 2006. It was basically a promotional competition which involved starting X3 discussions on various forums etc.

Nothing to do with SHH, but a few outside-US members took part (10 winners from 10 countries, and I think most of the posters in the X-Squad thread actually won).

Prizes were given out for weekly tasks, and the overall points counted for the official X3 premiere in your country.

For example, I won the photo competition and got a signed poster, as well as the main prize to go to London for the preview.

Too bad that most of those discussions were negative. :woot: March sounds about right because that's when Fox started to panic about the negativity that was rampant on the net.

I dunno if anyone has asked you this, but how does falling guilty feel?

:D :p

lol i'm j/k.

I was just wondering. Did you do anything illegal. I mean did you plagerize or anything?

Meh.

Cheating is the only way to get ahead in this world.
Bravo.

I cheated sometimes, but never won, I nearly did i came second one week.

I remeber the X-squad. I joined but then i forgot about it.....

Why don't you give the poster to the winner of the manips competition?
