Okay here's the deal I hate Fox, don't get me wrong they have good shows, but they seem to **** around with them too much, there is a gargantuan list of shows they have screwed around with, a notable case being the cancellation of Futurama, so anyone else hate Fox and wanna list any other shows they screwed with?

24, Bones, Prison Break, House and Terminator. I can't think of another network that has 5 quality dramas.

Arrested Development. It didn't have good ratings but that was because FOX kept changing the schedule around.

also if they promoted the show better. I was an avid watcher of 24, prison break, simpsons during the show was on air and I hardly ever saw any arrested development promotion.

Shows I like that Fox killed:

Futurama (they changed the time slot too much)
Arrested Development (they changed the time slot too much and didn't promote the show enough)
Firefly (they promoted the show to look like something it wasn't and showed the episodes out of order)
Andy Richter Controls the Universe (same as Arrested Development)
The Lone Gunmen (I don't know if this one was Fox's fault. I don't think too many people wanted to watch a comedy spin-off of The X-Files)

Futurama still lasted what 4-5 years? And now they have Direct-to-DVD movies. But the NFL overflow really hurt the show.

AD last 2.5 years, any other network would have cancelled it before the first Christmas episode. It only had 3 timeslot changes - one for each season but the last one pretty much killed it, it was a poor job at marketing. But it ended the show while it was on top, if it continued we would be ending season five. Quality may have dipped. We have the three seasons on DVD and a movie is coming soon.

Andy Richter had its troubles with timeslot changes and promotion. Still wish I saw the Conan episode.

Firefly, yeah Fox ****ed that up. Just be happy those people don't work at the network anymore.

Lone Gunmen did great in the Sunday X-Files timeslot but then was moved to the old Friday night X-Files timeslot. And the ratings were okay then but Fox figured they would be better off cancelling the show and putting something else on that night that would hopefully do better. So very, very wrong.

All the other networks do this but Fox seems to this a lot more, maybe because they have less programming to fill then ABC, NBC and CBS. That's cancel a show and hope that a new one will do much better.
CBS cancelled The Guardian and it was in the same Tuesday timeslot as 24. They both would go back and forth in the ratings but CBS felt that they could air a show that had better ratings than 13 million viewers. Now CBS would love to have a show that earned that. 24 can potentially still do that.

Arrested Development was such a great show and they keep messing with the time slot

Fox is run by idiots. Its no wonder they go after the idiot demographic.

They cancelled

-Arrested Development
-Futurama
-Family Guy when it was good
-Drive

AND WORST OF ALL FIREFLY!!!!!!!!!!!

I think they are a crappy network and when they cancel Terminator, I'll hate them more.

24 used to be good though, but the last two seasons have been disappointing and its past its prime and should have ended when Palmer resigned.

In terms of shows and timeslots, FOX is the worst of the big 4 stations. That is the way I truly see it, all bias aside.

don't forget to add Futurama (thank God Comedy Central picked it up), Drive (only given 4 episodes in 1 week & 1 day on air to prove its self)), & Space Above & Beyond.

I'll never forgive them for Firefly, never ever ever ever. Thank God its only the Fox TV which is ****, though I'm questioning 21st Century Fox now with a Donnie Darko sequel on the horizon & toning down Die Hard 4.0.

Family Guy and The Simpsons need to move to Comedy Central so I can delete this network from my channel list.

Unless a show is an instant blockbuster, FOX wants it gone. It has no patience to let a show develop. If the current FOX execs were in charge in the early 90's, the X-Files wouldn't have made it through its first season.

With the possible exceptions of their Saturday Night Lineup, I agree with that. Neither of their Saturday Night Shows get great ratings, but if both were to be cancelled by Fox, the executives would be beaten to death by the fans.

CBS has a primetime lineup?

Was that a serious question?

Exactly. FOX is much quicker than CBS, NBC, and ABC to cancel a show. It's amazing how at the end of the year season, it's FOX that axes most of it's shows that only ran one season.

COPS and America's Most Wanted are there because of tradition. It's been on Saturday nights for so long that they can't just take it off for low ratings. They wouldn't have the nerve to break such a solid tradition and staple in pop culture unless one or both of the shows officially end. It's like ABC canceling America's Funniest Home Videos. Personally, I like watching COPS and America's Most Wanted from time to time.

John Walsh is the baddest mofo on the planet. :o

America's Most Wanted is much better then Unsolved Mysteries and less creepier.

Walsh does this show after the his son Adam died in like 1982 or something. It became his obsession to see that justice was served to scumbags so that something like what he went through would not happen to anyone else and that the murderer would not get away with it. That is why he's the baddest mofo on the planet.
