But what if Tim Burton never left the Batman series? And for the hell of it Batman Returns was so f'n good.

He would have done his version of Batman Forever.

Are you being a smart ass, or did he really have his own version?

Yeah, on the Returns bonus features (I think it was either the commentary or one of the documentaries), he said that shortly after it released, he was outlining what he might to do for Batman 3 when he got the hint that they don't want him to do that.

I think Burton's Batman 3 would have been great, but I'm not sure that Robin Williams would have made a better Riddler than Jim Carey, I'm not saying that I am a firm believer that he would have been better, but a Tim Burton/ Jim Carey Riddler would have been very interesting imo.

And this is exactly why I eat Burger King, and not McDonalds.

Yeah, stick it to them! All those greasy young saps behind the counter frying the burgers - it's their fault Burton lost Batman 3!

I would hope that it wouldn't have been worse than Returns.

Everything is worse than Returns. Returns is a work of twisted genius.

thanks for the info.

****, Tim's Batman 3 would have been a real gem. It is too bad WB decided to think about the children.
Those fiends!
