I know alot of people here love Tim Burton's Batman and I use to too. I've watched Batman '89 and Returns again lately and realized that he wasn't a very good director for this film series. He did a pretty good job in Batman but I can't stand what he did with most of Returns. The Marching penguins etc just seemed so stupid to me now but as a kid I loved it. I just don't think Burton is a good director for this type of movie.

I think Burton did a great job, but I'm biased. Returns is one of my most favorite Batman films, right up there with Begins, and I really enjoyed what he did.
But, like I said, I'm biased.
