Transformers I just watched the movie FOUR times! ill answer any questions.

What would you say about the reviews that state that some of the fighting action is hard to see because of the extreme close-ups and the fast cutting? do we see this style o nthe megs optimus fight? or do we get to see most of the moves they make clearly?

They say that the starscream fight with the jets is the best action scene in the movie and that its long, can you explain a bit?

the action is very nice. but dont expect a UFC kinda thing. expect some far range shootings, and a few jabs.

the jet scene was like a minute or 2....:|

Can you hear the classic Transformation sound in the movie? Thats all I care about.

You'll hear it in the first Blackout transformation, but overall in the movie the new "clak-clak" sound effect applied also reminds to the original series.

Major spoiler question here.

Can you give a rough breakdown of showtime in percentage for each different character? (i.e. how much percentage of showtime for prime, how much for Bumblebee, how much for Starscream... just roughly)

Thanks!

Roughly (and probably incorrect :woot: );

Bumblebee 30%
Optimus 30%
Frenzy 12%
Megatron 9%
Blackout 9%
Barricade, Scorponok, Jazz, Ironhide, Ratchet, Starscream, Brawl and Bonecrusher share the last 10% (in that order)

All in all, when the movie ends you really want to see more of the robots. So much more. Thats not negative, cause we really have something to look forward to if there is a sequel ( remember how you wanted to see more dinosaurs afte Jurassic Park?). We see a lot of robots. The biggest surprise was that a little character like Frenzy gets som much screentime while Starcsream has very little. But that would no doubt change in a possible sequel, so thats not so bad. Bonecrusher is the one with least screen time, although it is one of the coolest scenes in the movie.

sorry to break it to you. but that scene was for 5 seconds. a soda machine, some white box, and an escalade came to life. you just saw the soda machine and the box transform, while the caddilacs didnt do anything except for the hand wheel coming out and "eating" some girls face.:p

The white box is an Xbox 360! lol in it's premium white box packaging. I didn't pick up on that till I watched the movie for the third time, which was this morning :woot:

The classic transforming sound is in the movie but slightly differen't each time you hear it. I'm not certain if each transformer (those who you hear the familiar sound) has their own version of it and thus when Prime transforms you hear the same transforming sound, or it changes because of variables. I didn't think about this, but should be interesting if someone plans on watching it again to find out. batman#1 you planing on watching it for a fifth time anytime soon? hehe, I know i'll be watching the movie again later on at some point.

Hehe, I justed watched it today with my grandparents! XD
I don't know how many times I'm planning on watching it, would've been alot more if they had "Collect three soft drink bottle plastic things so you can watch the movie for $5 aussie dollars" I can't remember how many times I saw Superman Returns but yeah definitely more then five times! There alot of people I want to experience this movie with, I have friends in Uni that are going on an excursion to watch the movie next friday for Design History. Thinking of skipping class to watch with them :ninja:

I have to say Frenzy warmed up to me, the first time I saw the movie I was irritated with him but just love the little things he does and his voice hehe. The aerial Starscream vs F22's is incredible! Oh! There's a song in the end credits by Disturbed i'm pretty sure, I have to get it~

This thread......is very confusing.

Well batman#1 has the seen the film four times and is allowing us to ask him questions about the film. Any queries you have you can put forward. We have a few threads similar to this now...so hopefully all questions can be answered.

The way questions are being answered is very confusing.

Who is this Cop you speak of?

When Optimus Prime says "Autobots, Transform and ROLL OUT!", did you nipples become erect?

Did Bumblebee have his voice back at the end of the movie, if so did he sound like a young guy like the original?

i barely heard ratchet and jazz talk. but bumble talks via radio stations which is cool. in the decepticons, megatron sounds ok, but nothing near the original.....all the other decepticons didnt talk except barricade. and the radio dude talks funny.
I thought that Starscream talks too?

No, but i got the shivers.haha.[/B}Did Bumblebee have his voice back at the end of the movie, if so did he sound like a young guy like the original? hmmm....well, his voice at the start had a young voice, but on my OPINION, his voice in the end sounded like an adult.

Some randon answers:

Yes, each Transformer seems to have their own version of the transforming sound, but not always audible due to so much going on. Blackout's in the opening attack is the clearest (and what a wet-in-your-pants moment that was).

When Prime first transforms, with that angle head shot (in the trailer), there was NO transforming sound. Strange and disappointing.

Starscream escaped. Barricade went MIA.

Prime said: "Autobots, Rollout!" Not "Transform and rollout!" (which IMO makes sense. kinda obvious they need to transform to roll. Right decision by the director)

Scorponok also survived, although heavily injured. The scene where the US airforce gives everything they have on Scorponok was gorgeous. Bring it!

i loved it as well. "Sir, the tone of your voice will not help speed our process".hahaha!wait, you dont know a thing i said did you?

The way Peter Cullen says "Rooooll OUT!" makes me get friggin' pumped.

is there any dialogue b/t Optimus and Megatron before their confrontation? and who does Brawl (or Devastator) duke it out with in his small role.

umm...yea there is. megatron says "by the end of this day, one will rise, one will fall." and prime says "its just you and me". then megatron says "no, its just me". if im not mistaken, devastator fights hide, ratchet, and jazz (or bumble). BUT not all at once.

Actually it was Prime who said it: "...one shall stand, one shall fall." Damn it sounded good.
