...but with the recent novelization out, I'm wondering if there is a way we can reinstitute spoiler tags or at least mark threads that are using novel details...

I agree, people should use spoiler tags. And they also shouldn't post spoilers in thread titles.

Yes, please. There are too many new spoilers out. I have yet to read any, and, frankly, I don't want to know.

This is a spoilers section, but it would be nice to include SPOILER in the thread title and use spiler tags.

I like spoiler tags because you may be reading through a thread that is innocent enough, and then all of a sudden *BLAM!!! Magneto gets squished by a Sentinel!!!!* and then I cry because I wanted to see that in the movie.

Ummm...whatever. Everything gets posted in the spoilers section on these boards. Only the dumb crap gets posted in non-spoilers. Not to mention as was mentioned above some people only want to know spoilers about particular characters and NOT all of them. Sheesh! Rude much?

I agree as well. I have done pretty well staying away from some particular threads. And I have'nt watched half of the TV spots yet.

In all honesty, there's no way of avoiding spoilers now other than staying out of the X-Men forums in general. With the novels available, the fates of the characters are going to appear in every thread about the forum as discussion rises.

There's nothing that can really be done to stop it. It's too hard to control.

It sounds silly forcing users to use Spoiler Tags in the damn Spoiler Forum. Just put a Spoiler Warning in the Thread Title & the rest is up to the user to decide if they want to go in or not.

Yes, but then they go from the "Major spoilers- I read Brett's secret diary" thread to the Cyclops thread and post the spoilers as part of a debate...

Its on topic, but I didnt read the novel spoilers for example, then read them by mistake when someone was making a point on one of the character threads...

& guess what thats more work for the mods thats their job & what they are supposed to do & heck any Character Thread = Spoilers Technically. So the mods should definitely add the word Spoiler in the Thread Titles & the user decide wether or not to go in plain & simple. Going into ANY THREAD IN THE SPOILER FORUM IS A RISK & if you dont want to be Spoiled then I suggest re thinking coming here until you see the Movie

Also agree. I'm almost avoiding the boards completely now because I don't want that much information before I see the movie (in less than 3 weeks!!!!).

I agree aswell. I'm just here to see if anyone finds out about Cyke and if he is alive at the end of the movie. Thats all I want to know so that when I get into the theater on the 26th I can clam myself down and just enjoy it all.

It's fair enough asking for spoilers not to be included in thread titles, as these can be seen outside the X3 forum. However, general spoilers shouldn't be excluded from anywhere, nor need any warning of spoilers be given. It's the Spoilers forum. That's your warning right there.
