I Love You, Man

No, I'm saying they were 2008 comedies with movie stars (not tv stars) that didn't suck

Oh, got confused. Because Stiller had his MTV show, with Franco and Rogen on Freaks and Geeks.

Yeah, but they're not famous for those TV appearances, they're famous for their film work.

You say that as if it is a bad thing. Let's take a look at a few of 2008s comedy films from people mostly famous for their movie work, shall we?

...

Dont Mess With The Zohan
The Love Guru
Meet Dave
Yes Man
The Women

You know what they all have in common, aside from famous movie actors? They ****ing blew!
I dont mean it as a bad thing. Yes I can see that it might sound like that. I just meant that its kinda a funny coincidence. Like with all the apatow movies, if you notice with some exceptions most are mostly famous for their tv-work.

I saw a tv spot for this tonight during How I met your mother. and saw the red band trailer a few days ago. Glad to see it's R rated.

Yes Man was quite good.

Looking forward to this flick. Loved Rudd in Role Models.

I saw Yes Man and laughed my ass off, I thought it was amazing. I just saw Pineapple Express and I think that this looks great. Paul rudd is this best of the apatow crew followed by Rogen and Segal.

Went to a screening last night, loved this. A little predictable at times, but still had some completely random ****, too. Loved all the head shots of Rudd, he's such a doll.

How do you see so many movies in advance? lol.

Paul Rudd is outstanding in the film. Go see it now. Going to be hard for the other comedies this year to top it.

Funniest movie from start to finsh that I've seen in a long time, jobas.

Just got back from it tonight. Loved every second. It's definitely right up there with Role Models.

The slapping bass segments had me rolling.

The gay undertones in this movie made me laugh.

Wow, this was great! Genuinely hilarious. Paul Rudd is a genius.

My friend is in L.A. for Spring Break and she saw Paul Rudd at a Malibu Restaurant and he took a picture with her! He is so chill! I love Paul Rudd!!!!!

Loved this movie. Very smart and funny. Up there with Role Models in my book.

Yeah, I kinda thought it was better by a little bit.

I liked all the bit parts from people you've seen in all other movies.

This was diff about better then the directors last movie along came polly.

Here's hoping Rudd and Segel do another movie together.

I love how Truglio pops up in all of these movies in great little parts.

I wish his part in this movie would have been bigger, but the little scens we got with him were hilarious. Nothing really can beat Kuzzik though.

Yeah, now that you say it, it was.

I just thought it was funny how Segl went Helllllllllllllllo as he was leaving the building placing the one couple.

Or when he trys to beat up "Hulk"

Can't wait to see this tomorrow!

I was hearing there are a lot of Rush references in the film. Kind of cool when you think back to when Segel was in Freaks and Geeks and Rush was one of his favorite bands in that. :woot:

It's also cool to see how big he's gotten thinking back to seeing him in that small role in Dead Man On Campus.

Rush also makes a cameo in it.

Plus he was one of the best friends in the movie slackers. I caught the end on tv before.

I guess one of the perks of being in Apatow's group.

I completely lost it when Rudd is on the phone with Ferrigno and [BLACKOUT]Segel pops up from behind his cubicle and pretends to be Hulking out.[/BLACKOUT]
It caught me completely off guard.
