I Met (Saw) Jason Schwartzman!

I live in Wilmington, NC. Which has a fairly good movie and television studio in it. So a lot of stuff is made here, Dawson's Creek was and One Tree Hill currently is, so it's not uncommon to see those people around town. We've just gotten used to Chad Micheal Murray's creeper antics. But it's still always cool when you see bigger stars down here.

Ben Stiller and Jason Schwartzman are filming a movie down here called "The Marc Pease Experience". Like everyone in town is going to be in it.

But I was downtown driving today and I was gonna drop my friend Shelby off at Port City Java and there was a green stop light up ahead, which usually means go, but I noticed some pedestrians to the said of the steet, and you're supposed to give them the right-of-way no matter what. So I decided not to plow through them. It was two ladies and a guy walking a dog. And he looked familiar. The guy, not the dog. I swore I had seen the guy before. And then it hit me. Holy crap it's Jason Schwartzman http://imdb.com/name/nm0005403/! I suppose he noticed me mouthing his name in my car so he glanced over to me. I waved really hard and he smiled and waved back. Then I went around the block as to not be driving the wrong way down a one way street, and upon reaching the front of Port City Java, there was Jason Schwartzman just chilling. I let out my friend and rolled down my window, sooooo tempted to yell "BYE JASON SCHWARTZMAN!" But I didn't. He was keeping a low profile. But I saw him hold the door for my friend as she went in to the store. And she was like "Thanks" and he was all like "Noooooo problem!" Awesome.

And Jason Schwartzman is the first real celebrity I've ever seen or met.


I mean, I also saw Pat Hingle today. But we've just gotten used to him. He does a bunch of plays and is old and crazy and hilarious.

Rethinking this I'm glad I didn't hit Jason Schwartzman because I almost decided to just be rude to the pedestrians and go on through. This story would have been much more interesting if I did hit Jason Schwartzman though.

I've met a dude who played one of the doctors originally on "General Hospital". He lives in town and was hosting a theater awards show and I was one of the presenters.

But still Jason Schwartzman is the COOLEST and most-famous celebrity I've ever met.

Susan Sarandon came to my school once. I told the story here a few times. Incredibly sweet woman.

My dad also managed to meet Alec Baldwin at a Breast Crancer Fundraiser. He said he was pretty cool.

I've never heard of Jason Schwartzman. I googled a picture of him and I still don't know who he is. I would have never even known he was a celeb. *shrug* Congrats...I guess.

i met schwartzman a long time ago once. he used to drum in a band called phantom planet, good band. their first show of their first headlining tour was at a small club in detroit. it was a great show and he was a cool enough guy.

Well, I only had about 4-5 lines and this was about 5ish years ago. I was in other episodes stealing things as well but my shining role is when I bump into someone's wife and the husband threatens me haha.
