that's one of my favorite features of Firefox. it doesn't correct your errors but points them out as you type.

I tend to use colour, or favour, or things like that myself. But they're still recognized in a spellcheck.

Just add a word filter to the most common spelling mistakes. This will mean that if posters want their posts to be read, they'll need to start spelling things correctly.
